Things are changing and more changes are to come; not only as a nation, but in each of our individual lives as well. It’s because of these changes that Our nation is changing from glory to glory. Therefore, its important that we’re consistently and faithfully upholding and supporting those who have been put into positions of power and authority with our prayers. There are major choices and decisions that will be made, new laws will be passed and others changed; that will affect every area of our lives.
1Ti 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
vs:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
vs:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Commit to Praying for those in authority now, and also for those who will be placed in these positions of authority later.
When praying for those in authority and covering the ones in charge with our prayers; begin by asking Our Heavenly Father for His wisdom, knowledge and revelation to be imparted to them; so that they will make the right choices and tough decisions that need to be made, on behalf of us as individuals and as a nation. By taking the time to speak these things over them and covering them in our prayers; we are setting ourselves up for God’s protection, intervention and favor in our lives.
1Co 9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
So, Be blessed, encouraged and know that your prayers and voice are not only heard but important to the ONE listening…Our Heavenly Father!!!
