FATHERS

Honoring Our FATHER with our obedience pt 3

I had The Holy Spirit give me this Word this morning…He said,The thoughts that you are having is because you have allowed rebellion in…and to settle in your heart“. He said this to explain what happens to people when He has been dealing with someone about a situation(s) or with a specific area in our lives that needs changed. He went on to explain that we are supposed to acknowledge His correction and then make adjustments to fix it; immediately. We are not to give the enemy place.

Pro_3:12  For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

At some point in our relationship with Our Father He will have to deal with us in these areas. The process goes something like this…operating in ignorance, being ignorant, and / or unknowingly or unintentionally operating in disobedience; when we are ignorant of certain principles and ways, and/or we just don’t understand something or have full revelation about something. You can have no light or very little light in an area, but truly wanting to know and understand. This is when redirection and correction and reteaching is needed.

Rom 10:3  For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

He is patient, He is our Teacher and He is anointed / and empowered to get it across to us; knowing and understanding our hearts. He knows and understands: the rate at which we learn, how we comprehend and understanding things, what best techniques to use to explain what it is He is trying to convey to us, as well as using our personalities to His advantage; so that our eyes are opened up thereby allowing revelation, light and understanding to come into our hearts. This is why we need Him and His teaching anointing; and why we need to stay humble, teachable, open to correction and quick to repent. He is acting like our FATHER.

Pro 4:1  Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
Pro 4:2  For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
Pro 4:3  For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
Pro 4:4  He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
