CONVICTIONS

CONVICTIONS: poem: ~ wrote @12:48 pm on June 8, 2015.

Convictions are what causes us to live our lives and how our walk looks like with each waking day.
What things do you believe; that causes you to live, walk, talk and make the choices that you do; that everyone sees.

Do you have love that causes you to look at others and see past their hurts and mistakes;
Looking at them and believing that within them; greatness the Creator did make?

Do you have faith to stand your ground; when life itself seems to be fighting you and wants to break you apart and bring you down?

Don’t let the devil nor your circumstances lie to you; causing you to believe that your life is what it is, and therefore allowing those lies to be lived through you.

The Creator in all His splendor and glory; loves you and destined you to reign with Him in His forever story.

So, with your head held up high, bring your problems to Him; BUT, don’t whine, lie down, give up, nor give in.
The Truth that is in His Word and Jesus blood that was shed; was given to you to overcome; and beat the devil in the head!

He tries to scare and uses tactics to bring despair; but when you use Jesus’s blood and stand firmly on His Word; you will OVERCOME and it’s with Victory you will declare.
Because, convictions come from within; by spending time in God’s Word, faith takes ahold, and this is what causes you to walk in them.

How do you use your convictions to live? Do you judge others or blame them?
Our convictions are for each of us alone, to entreat others and love them; not to judge nor condemn.
And if they are in sin, it is the sin; not them, that we do not condone.

Convictions determine how we live each day. It determines how we act and with what we say.
Producing actions and works, and our words with which we live by; thereby others see our faith, our convictions, our reasons, and even our WHYS’.

Convictions cause us to push through; even when we thought we couldn’t nor wanted to.
Strength comes from within; causing us to not give up, nor allowing thoughts of giving in.
It’s these very convictions that will see us through; doing things that others wouldn’t nor couldn’t do.
Thereby, encouraging others when they need it too; because convictions are contagious and with conviction; comes BREAKTHROUGH. ©2015 Carol Helmick. All Rights Reserved.
