Carol, I’m very excited. I have a best friend at work whom I love like a sister. She has many personal problems and is an ex-pat like me, living in Greece.
I’ve been sharing with her over the last few years how God has helped me etc, encouraging her to seek him. She was sitting on the fence about it and trying other New Age things instead. But today, as she was telling me her problems, I shared with her about my daughter, and how God has so radically changed her life in less than a year. I said that if she would just trust that God is real and give her life to him then he would be able to fix everything, including changing her on the inside.
I asked if she would let me pray with her repeating after me and she said yes!
So I prayed the prayer for God to forgive her and come into her life etc, and by the end of the prayer she was crying her eyes out! We were sitting in the park during our lunch break and she said that she hasn’t cried like that in a long time.I’m so excited. I love her so much, and I can’t wait to see God’s work in her life… 😀
