Hello Carol,
I sent you a message on this email a couple of days ago; hope you got it. I was watching the sermon today (the one that was aired on Thursday), and I enjoyed it very much. I had so much I wanted to contribute live, but, nevertheless, will write an experience here, related to something that Mike said, in case you want to use it on testimony Tuesday. When Mike said about our authority given to us by Jesus and which we can exercise to scare away wild animals, I wanted to confirm it with an experience I had with my girls earlier this year.
We had been flat hunting, and we ended up in a road where we had to cross something like an overgrown and abandoned piece of land. So, as my daughters and I were wading through the overgrown thistles and hidden junk in order to get to the other side; three vicious dogs suddenly appeared out of nowhere and ran up to us barking and snarling.

My daughters were terrified and tried to turn around and run (which would have been disastrous); but I immediately remembered that Jesus has given us Authority over this earth and that includes the animals; so I told the girls ‘Stop!’ and I shouted authoritatively at the dogs to ‘Go back! Go back!’. Then, I stood in front of the dogs to shield my daughters and told them to continue to the end of the field (just a short distance at this point), which they did and then I followed. The dogs were snarling at my heels the whole time, but I knew I had authority over them.
